Liver cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the largest internal organ in the body, which happens to be the liver. Your liver has the function of breaking down and storing nutrients absorbed from the intestine and it also delivers bile to the intestines to help absorb nutrients. Cancer, if it starts in the liver, is called primary liver cancer. There are many warning signs associated with the symptoms of liver cancer, such as:

1. Losing weight without trying
One of the factors that people see when they experience liver cancer is that they are losing weight without having to exercise or diet. Losing weight without trying is a sure sign that liver cancer is present. You will need to get checked out by your physician.

2. Upper abdominal pain and swelling
Many people experience pain in the body as they get older. But if you are experiencing upper abdominal pain and even swelling, then you may be showing one of the symptoms of liver cancer. There is no time to wait and hope for it to go away. You will need to have yourself checked by your physician.

3. General fatigue
People live busy lives. And along with that comes just fatigue. But, if you are experiencing more fatigued than normal then you will want to be checked out by a doctor. One of the symptoms of liver cancer is just feeling tired more than normal. Even if you haven’t changed your diet or the amount of work you are experiencing, it could be that your fatigue is a result of possible liver cancer.

4. Jaundice
Your liver provides some very necessary functions for your body. And when your body is not functioning right it will give you some telltale signs that you can’t miss. One of those telltale signs is yellowing of the skin and eyes. This is the yellowing of the skin and the eyes and that happens when the liver is not functioning at its best.

5. White or chalky stools
There are many reasons why your store can be different colors. Sometimes your stool can be more of a pale color or white, or even chalky. What problems with the liver can’t even close your stools to be this way. And if your schools are consistently white or chalky, then please get checked by your doctor.

6. Nausea and vomiting
From time to time people become sick, and sometimes that includes nausea and/or vomiting. However, if this nausea and/or vomiting is consistent and daily, then that may be a sign that you have liver cancer and you should be checked out by your physician immediately.
